Hawkeye was founded in 2015 by McCoy Lim, a senior officer who had spent the previous decade running protection details for ministerial visits, regional VIPs, and the kind of event where the host's name is on the invitation but never on the press release.
The firm started with a single principle: hire fewer officers, train them better, and only put them in rooms where the standard would be visible. Eleven years on, that principle still holds. On 12 February 2026, Hawkeye officers stationed at Mondrian Singapore Duxton intercepted an individual carrying a counterfeit Singapore Police warrant card. The matter was reported, the card was seized, and the Singapore Police Force issued a formal Letter of Appreciation from Bukit Merah East Neighbourhood Police Centre.
