Our Story
It started with our other business. We bounced through the usual suspects — GoDaddy, Squarespace, even the WordPress editor — chasing whichever one felt friendliest at the time. Nice templates, easy to launch, the obvious "just get something live" choice. For about a year it was fine.
Then we tried to grow. Suddenly the template was the wall. We couldn't move sections where we wanted. We couldn't build the booking flow our customers kept asking for. We couldn't plug in the AI agents that were starting to send real traffic. Every new feature became a workaround stacked on a workaround. We were spending more time fighting the editor than running the business.
Cheap to start, but quietly expensive. The platform looked friendly until our business needed more than the template was ever going to allow.
Around the same time, a friend told us about her experience going the other way — she hired a "proper" Singapore web design agency for her business.
Six months passed before they showed her a first draft. Her site went live a full year after the kickoff call. After launch, every change became an invoice. Move a button. Update a price. Add a paragraph. Every email triggered another line item. The agency had already been paid for the build — they had no reason to make the site better, only to charge for fixing what they shipped.
Thousands of dollars up front, a year of waiting, and then a relationship where the agency wins every time the business changes. Crazy, when you stop to look at it.
We looked at our two options as a Singapore SME and didn't love either. We didn't want to trap our customers on a builder they couldn't escape. We didn't want to charge thousands upfront, disappear for six months, and then bill by the hour every time the business needed a small change.
So we did it our way.
No setup fee — because we'd rather earn a long relationship than collect a one-time payday and walk. The site we build for you keeps evolving as your business does, with the same team that built it. If we ever stop being worth the monthly fee, you take everything we built and host it yourself.
That's the version of this we wished we'd had. So that's the version we sell.
Every Singapore SME starts the conversation the same way: "Why can't I just buy the website outright?" It's a fair question. Here's the honest answer.
Browsers update. Google's algorithm shifts. AI search reshapes how customers find you. Your business model evolves. New competitors appear. A website built once and then frozen starts decaying the minute it ships. Within 18 months it's slow, ugly, broken, or invisible to AI search. The agency that built it has no incentive to fix any of that — they've already been paid.
Every month you pay us, we have to be worth that month. We update your site. We tune the AI widget against new conversation patterns. We optimise for the new GEO (AI-search) channels nobody knew existed last year. We watch your analytics and tell you what's working. If we stop being worth it, you cancel. Aligned incentives, all the way down.
If this resonates, here's where to go next.
